Social Battery is an offline reading app. You do not need an account, and the app does not send your reading progress or personal information to a developer-operated server.
What stays on your device
The app stores the three story identifiers and current position in your reading session so you can return to it later. Stories, quotations, and source details are included with the app. The widget uses those bundled stories and your device's date to display a quotation.
There are no advertising, behavioral analytics, account, payment, or AI-generation services in the app. It does not request your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or health information.
Keeping and removing progress
Session progress remains in local app storage until you finish the session and tap Done or the app's data is removed. Deleting the app removes its local data; your operating system may separately manage backups according to your device settings. Social Battery does not operate an account or cloud-sync service.
Source websites
A source website opens only when you choose its link. The app does not add your reading progress or a user identifier to that link. The external website's own privacy policy applies, and it may receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address.
This website
This website does not use advertising, analytics scripts, cookies, or local browser storage. The website host receives ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and the page requested, to serve the pages and may keep security or access logs. This is separate from the app's local reading progress.
Support
If you choose to email us for support or to ask about early access, your email address and message will be received by the support mailbox and its email provider so your request can be answered. Provide only the information needed to explain the issue. Please do not send sensitive personal information. You can use the same address to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any retention required by law.
